"Don't make promises you can't keep" I think we say this all the time but seldom actually think to live it. At the moment of making that promise, we really think it's possible to fulfill and neglect future reality. I think we sometimes really want to keep our promises but circumstances wouldn't let us. Other times the spirit in which the promise was made is lost and the zeal to fulfill, long gone. This happens all the time and still we make more never-to-be-fulfilled promises that the word itself starts to loose it's value. How about we respect this word and work to keep it? A conscious effort is all it takes. Care enough to fulfill your promises or don't even make them at all. Do you promise to do this?
